Kate Geraci artist statement:
Imagination is a powerful tool. Through it, the intangible becomes tangible — dreams take form and bridge two worlds: the seen and the unseen. My work is an exploration of that bridge, creating portals between reality and a more expansive, otherworldly experience.
In my paintings, overlapping silhouettes, bold colors, and mirrored forms express the unity between separate beings and separate worlds. Through repetition and reflection, I seek to dissolve boundaries and invite viewers to experience connection across differences — to imagine a reality where anything is possible.
Imagination is a sacred gift. It allows us to experience beyond what is immediately visible, and to shape a more vibrant and compassionate future. I hope that, through this work, viewers are inspired to not only see another world but to step into it — carrying with them a renewed sense of wonder, unity, and possibility. I would be honored to contribute to an exhibition that, like Maria Seda-Reeder’s curatorial vision, holds space for truth, transformation, and collective care.
